Swamp People

Trapper Joe and Trigger Tommy, two of the stars of the the hit show Swamp People, will be making an appearance at a benefit this Saturday December 8th in DeQuincy. The benefit is for a family that lost everything in a house fire and will feature the Swamp People stars along with some great Cajun and Swamp pop artists performing live.  Here are the details:

The hit show "Swamp People" on the History Channel is coming back for a fourth season.  All your favorites will be back and now I have found out via Twitter the possible month the show will start in 2013.

The "Gator Queen" Liz Cavalier and her side kick Kristi Broussard from the hit show 'Swamp People" will be in Iowa, Louisiana today doing an appearance for the Children’s Miracle Network of CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital. It is open to the public and Liz and Kristi will be taking photos with fans and signing autographs and raising money for CMN.

Trapper Joe Lafont from the hit reality show "Swamp People" was scheduled to appear in an Orange County, Florida, court room today August 9th for a pre-trial conference. We have learned that the conference has once again been cancelled and rescheduled.

As we reported last week, Trapper Joe Lafont from the hit reality show "Swamp People" was scheduled to appear in an Orange County, Florida, court room on July 19th to a enter his 'guilty' or 'not guilty' plea for assault and domestic battery. After there was no word on the outcome of that appearance, we did a little investigating and found that Trapper Joe's court date had been cancelle

As we reported last month, Trapper Joe Lafonte from the hit reality show "Swamp People" was arrested by police after a drunken disturbance outside the Buena Vista Hotel & Spa in Florida after a witness claimed he struck Trene Marie Planche. Now, Joe will head back to Florida this Thursday, July 19th to answer the charges and have his day in court.

The hit reality show "Swamp People" on the History Channel is gearing up for a new season and are now casting alligator hunters for season four of the popular show. Alligator season in Louisiana starts on September 1st and runs for thirty days and ends on September 30th.  Think you have what it takes to be on the show?  Well here is where they are doing the casting calls.

They guys and gals of "Swamp People" can see the finish line and Thursday night we will find out who will be crowned the king of the swamp. This will be an exciting end to the season because it all comes down to two gator hunters R.J. Molinere and current "King of the Swamp" Troy Landry. Who will it be?

We reported last week about "Swamp People" star Trapper Joe Lafonte being arrested for domestic violence in California.  After we checked our source, we found out that he was actually arrested in Florida while visiting Disney World. We have also learned the name of Joe's live in girlfriend who he allegedly assaulted and when Trapper Joe's hearing has been scheduled.

Over the weekend, I emceed the Bayou Bash at the Prien Lake Mall.  The event was full of great food, carnival rides for the kids and live music. Horace Trahan and Damon Troy rocker the Bayou Bash and we also got a visit from R.J. and Jay Paul from the show "Swamp People".  I had a chance to interview the guys and this is just a little of what they had to say.
