There was a shooting on Saturday, July 13, 2018, at 4:48 p.m., on Interstate 10 eastbound, near the Enterprise Blvd exit. Police arrested a suspect on Tuesday.
William Murphree was arrested for aggravated 2nd-degree battery and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center. A warrant was issued with a bond of $10,000.
On Thursday, January 25, at 11:02 a.m., a Lake Charles man was confronted by a resident and shot after a forced entry into a home. A second man has been arrested for his involvement in the incident.
