New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles who asked to be released from the New Orleans Saints is getting his wish. Sproles will now become a Philadelphia Eagle.
I have always thought Pierre Thomas was a lot more talented than Ingram, Bell, Bush or any other running back that has been through New Orleans during his tenure. The Saints must agree as Thomas has been signed to a new two year deal.
I was lucky enough to have season tickets to see the Saints 09 Super Bowl season. It was safety Malcom Jenkins rookie year and he was hungry. He did not start until later in the season and showed a lot of promise but never rose to Pro Bowl starter status. .He has now signed with the Eagles and has been replace by a three time Pro Bowler.
The problem with having a lot of NFL super star talent is that you have to pay them. The challenge is paying them and staying below the salary cap. The Saints are in the middle of that challenge right now.
