Road Closures

On Thursday, May 12, there will be a temporary closure at the railroad crossing located alongside Railroad Avenue & Kirkman Street.

The southbound lane of the 4100 block of Ryan Street will be temporarily closed, beginning Thursday, May 12, at 6 a.m., to allow construction work on a sidewalk.

Expect delays going westbound on I-10 over the Calcasieu River Bridge today. The right lane will be closed for inspection from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The 2500 Block of 10th Street, will be closed temporarily starting Monday, Jan. 11. The project is estimated to last approximately five days.

There will be a lane closure at the northbound lane of the 4000 block of Ernest Street, on Tuesday, December 29 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The 1400 block of Alvin Street, between Shell Beach Drive and Drew Park Drive, will close to thru traffic on Saturday, November 21, for the replacement of a main water line.

On Thursday, October 8, 2015, a traffic signal will be removed from La 1138-2, Prien Lake Road at Holly Hill Road, due to road construction.

The northbound, outside lane of Ryan Street, between McNeese and Sale Streets, will be intermittently closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23.

The DOTD will start working on Highway 171 starting Monday and have advised us that there will be lane closures, delays and alternate routes.

The left two lanes of I-10 eastbound from Milepost 30.5 to 32.5 (Lakeshore Drive to Opelousas Street) in Lake Charles will be closed on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
