November 14, 2011 The LSU Tigers celebrated homecoming last Saturday night with a 42-9 victory over Western Kentucky. It also marked the 100th win for Les Miles in his career.
The Tigers also improved to 10-0 on the season and it's the first time the Tigers have been 10-0 since 1958.

October 31, 2011 Well it's official! The latest polls were released yesterday and LSU and Alabama stayed #1 and #2 in all the polls setting the stage for this Saturdays nights "Game of the Century" as its being called.
Both teams are 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the SEC heading into the clash between the top teams from a conference that has claimed the past five BCS National Championships.
The game will kick off at 7pm from Tuscaloosa, Alabama and will be televised on CBS.

October 3, 2011 After the LSU Tigers beat up the Kentucky Wildcats 35-7 Saturday afternoon, the Tigers were rewarded for their efforts by staying atop the AP Top 25 Polls. The Tigers are 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in the SEC.
The Tigers will now take on the #17 ranked team in the country and SEC Foes, The Florida Gators. Kickoff is set for 2:30pm and will be televised LIVE on CBS from Tigers Stadium. Fans are encouraged to wear gold for the game.
