FINAL UPDATE, 10:25 a.m.: After a busy morning of digging in the Swords region near Lawtell, St. Landry Parish officials have ruled out three mysterious dirt mounds as possible gravesites for missing UL-Lafayette student Mickey Shunick.

A sad story coming from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office today.  An 18th Month old child is dead at the hands of the baby's mothers boyfriend.

Its been 11 days now and the search is still on for Joe Constance who is wanted by authorities in connection to a homicide that happened in Lake Charles. A reward has now been offered by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office!  Here is a statement from the Sheriff's Office.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office released today that two suspects have been arrested for the murder of a Westlake man.  The following is a press release from the Sheriff's Office:
