Are you having withdrawls for football. Well we have your fix especially for McNeese Cowboy football fans. This Saturday April 16th the McNeese football team will hold there annual Blue and Gold spring football game.

New McNeese Football Lance Guidry took to the podium on Friday and announced his new coaching staff and the Cowboys 2016 football schedule.

The Cowboys ended up as the fourth seed in the playoffs which is still good. They received a bye which means they have a week off and will host a home playoff game.

Even though the McNeese Cowboys football team was off last week, they still stayed strong in the national polls. The new polls were released today and the Cowboys are still ranked the number two team in the nation. The Cowboys held steady at No. 3 in the STATS poll too this week.

McNeese has scheduled a watch party for the show and is inviting all fans to be there with the Cowboys when the pairings are revealed.

Still undefeated. Sounds good huh McNeese Cowboy fans? That's right the pokes took care of business over the weekend beating Northwestern State 47-27 for homecoming to stay perfect and they moved up into the top 10 in both polls.

Tonight, I had the chance to go to the McNeese Homecoming game tonight. I stood on the sidelines and got to see first hand how good the Cowboys football team really are and let me tell you, they impressed me.

This week it's homecoming for the Cowboys and they will take on Northwestern State this Saturday at Cowboys stadium. The game will also be televised.

The McNeese football team will have a huge game today as they travel up to Conway Arkansas today to take on Central Arkansas for first place in the conference.

The Cowboys are 5-0 on the season and 4-0 in Southland Conference play after beating Southeastern Louisiana last Saturday and they moved up big in the latest polls.

The McNeese Cowboys face off against Southeastern Louisiana in a big Southland Conference showdown. We have found out that the game will be televised locally too.

The McNeese Cowboys chalked up their fourth straight win as they beat Nicholls in Thibodaux 37-7. They handed Nicholls their 22nd consecutive straight loss. It was also the seventh straight game McNeese has beaten Nicholls. With that being said the Pokes moved up in the polls.
