The game time has been moved from it's original 3:00 p.m. start to now a 2:30 pm kickoff. Also, The Cowboys and Nicholls game will be televised on tv locally on Cox Sports TV which is channel 57 if you have Suddenlink Cable.

Today the polls were released and McNeese has jumped up two spots in the FCS Coaches Poll and the STATS Top 25 rankings.

The Cowboys are now ranked #17 in this weeks FCS Coaches Poll and will step out of Southland conference play tomorrow night when they host Mississippi College at Cowboy's stadium in Lake Charles.

The McNeese Cowboys broke into the top 20 this week after their win over Stephen F Austin last Saturday. The Pokes beat the Lumberjacks 28-14 to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Cowboys will now travel to Nacogdoches, Texas to play Stephen F Austin who is 0-2 on the year. The Cowboys and Lumberjacks game kicks off at 6:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, the Cowboys won 43-9 over Incarnate Word. For thier efforts, the moved up two spots in this week's FCS Coaches Poll. Here are the latest polls.

The McNeese Cowboys return home tonight and take on Incarnate Word in a Southland Conference matchup. This will be the second straight season that the Pokes will wear camouflage jerseys in honor of their Military Appreciation Day.

The first home game for the Cowboys in the 2015 season is Saturday and the McNeese athletic department has a full line up of events for tomorrow's game.

The LSU and McNeese Athletic department's have announced that they are now prepared to issue refunds to those fans who purchased tickets for the game through McNeese and LSU.

The McNeese State Cowboys stayed put at No. 23 in this week's FCS Coaches Poll. Here is the full standings:

With the 2015 college football season upon us, it was announced today that the new home of the McNeese Cowboys football broadcast will be on our sister station 92.9 The Lake.

After that, the Cowboys will return back to Lake Charles and host their first home game of the season with a different look. For the second straight season, the Pokes will wear camouflage jerseys for their 2015 Military Appreciation Day. The new jerseys I have to say are pretty sweet!
