The McNeese Cowgirls beat #1 seeded Mercer 82-70 In First Round of WBI on Thursday night to advance to today second round matchup against Elon.

I know it's only March but it is never to early to start thinking about football season.  That is what the McNeese Cowboys football team will do today holding their first scrimmage of the spring.

The McNeese Cowgirls basketball team posted an 18-14 overall record and a 11-7 conference record this year.  The Cowgirls fell to Oral Roberts in the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament to end their season so we thought. The McNeese Men and Women's basketball regular seasons have come to an end.  Now both the Cowboys and Cowgirls are headed to the Southland Conference Tournaments. The McNeese Athletic Foundation's annual “Denim and Diamonds” fundraiser is tonight at the Burton Coliseum beginning with a 6 p.m. cocktail and silent auction hour. The McNeese Athletic Foundation's sole purpose for this fundraiser is to generate donation-related income to support athletic programs and scholarships for student-athletes.  Here are the details on tonight's event.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team took two out of three games this weekend at home from Louisiana Tech to improve their record to over five hundred.

The McNeese Cowgirls and Cowboys basketball teams will play their final home games of the season today inside the Burton Coliseum.  Both teams are coming off of huge wins against Southland conference foes Oral Roberts.

The McNeese Baseball team have won their last three games to even their record at 3-3 on the season.  The team will be looking to stay on the winning track when they take on LSU-Alexandria in a double header today.

The McNeese Cowgirls and Cowboys basketball teams are finally returning back to Lake Charles to take on Stephen F. Austin.  The games will be played inside the Lake Charles Civic Center tonight instead of the Burton Coliseum because of the rodeo.

The McNeese Men and Women basketball teams begin Southland Conference action today up in North Louisiana.

The McNeese Mens basketball team will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels this morning in Chapel Hill.  The game will also be televised nationally.

The McNeese Cowgirls will travel to Baton Rouge today to take on the Lady Tigers of LSU in an afternoon college basketball match up.
