Well Cowboy baseball fans, the McNeese baseball season has come to an end. The McNeese Cowboys baseball team were eliminated yesterday in the Southland Conference (SLC) baseball tournament to end their season.
The McNeese baseball team are coming off of a big win over Nicholls on Sunday 5-4 to win to out of three games. What is really important is they got two Southland conference victories out of it.
The McNeese Cowboys were suppose to host the LSU-Alexandria baseball team today at 6 p.m. in Cowboy Diamond but due to the amount of rain the Lake Charles area has received, the baseball game tonight has been cancelled.

The McNeese Cowboys baseball team got a little pay back yesterday by beating No.2 seeded Nicholls yesterday and avenged a series sweep they suffered over this past weekend to end the regular season.
The #7 seeded McNeese baseball team who are 28-26 on the season and 17-13 in Southland Conference play this season will face off against #2 Seeded Nicholls today in the opening round of the Southland Conference baseball tournament.
