October 1, 2012 The LSU Tigers struggled early against Towson Saturday night but eventually came away with a 38-22 victory to move the Tigers to 5-0 on the season.

September 16, 2012 Tigers Stadium was rocking last night as the LSU Tigers beat the Idaho Vandals 63-14 for their record setting 40th straight non-conference regular season victory and their 20th straight home victory in a row.
With LSU's big win and USC losing to Stanford, the Tigers moved up in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls.

LSU Moves Up To #2 In Coaches Poll, Stay #3 In AP Poll
September 10, 2012 The LSU Tigers are now 2-0 on the season after beating the Washington Huskies 41-3 Saturday night at Tigers Stadium. The Tigers also moved up in the USA Today Coaches Poll to #2 but stayed at #3 in the AP Poll.
