Sometime in the middle of next week, Tropical Storm Ernesto will likely be making landfall on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico -- but exactly where is still a mystery.  And while Ernesto is throwing out winds of around 50 mph this morning, it's still uncertain at this hour just how strong he'll become.

It's official. As we reported in June, former Cajun musician turned Country music star Hunter Hayes had his first country music Gold record. Now he has received the gold record live on television yesterday on the show "The Talk". We have the video of him receiving the gold record.

As we reported last week, Brandon Lavergne was indicted by a grand jury in Lafayette for the first degree murder of the still-missing Mickey Shunick. But in a shocking twist in the case, Lavergne was also charged with the first degree murder of Lisa Pate, an Acadia Parish woman who was found dead in 1999. Now the Lafayette Parish District attorney is saying that both cases may be tried together.
