Earlier today, we reported that Tyrann Mathieu was released from the LSU football program.  Now unconfirmed reports are flying out saying that 'The Honey Badger" is head to Lake Charles and McNeese State University. Now a tweet sent to Tyrann from former LSU teammate Josh Jasper has the rumors flying!

LSU head coach Les Miles officially announced today that Tyrann Mathieu, aka 'The Honey Badger," has been kicked off the LSU football team for a violation of team policy.  Could he have failed another drug test?  Officials aren't saying.

The NFL has contacted New Orleans Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma and has offered to reduce his suspension from one year to just eight games. There is only one condition, Vilma would have to drop his civil lawsuit against NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

The South Lake Charles Little league baseball team begins its journey tonight toward the main goal of getting to Williamsport and the little league world series. The team will play in  the Southwest Regional tournament tonight in Waco, Texas. Their first opponent is New Mexico’s Petroglyph Little League team based in Albuquerque, with first pitch slated for 5 p.m. at Norcross Stadium.
