Back in December, we put up a poll and let you, the fans and listeners of Cajun Radio, vote on who you thought should be the Cajun Radio 2012 "Artist of the Year." We had an overwhelming amount of response which garnered over 26,000 votes from you! The votes are in and have all been counted. It was a very close race this year but we are proud to announce the winner!  You the listeners have named Horace Trahan the 2012 Cajun Radio "Artist of the Year". This is the second year in a row that the listeners and fans of Cajun Radio have bestowed this honor to Horace Trahan.  Here are the results.

Horace Trahan, who you voted your 2011 Cajun Radio Artist of the Year, has released his new CD called "All The Way".  The CD is now available in stores and on his website Horacetrahan.com. The new record boasts 14 new original songs by Horace and his band the Ossun Express.

  We caught up with your 2011 Cajun Radio Artist of the Year today,  Horace Trahan .  He stopped by the Cajun Radio studios to talk with us about his brand new CD coming out next week called "All The Way". We also talk to Horace about his experience performing at the Marshland Festival and what you folks can expect this Saturday night, July 28th, when Horace performs live from 6:30 p.m.
