The Cajun French Music Association of (CFMA) big festival started today and goes through tomorrow inside the Burton Coliseum. The 25th Annual award winning Cajun Music & Food Festival is full of great Cajun food and music. Here is the official lineup.

The 55th annual Contraband Days festival kicks off today for two weeks in downtown Lake Charles on the Civic Center grounds. Contraband Days is right around the corner. The festival starts Tuesday May 1st and runs through May 13th, 2012. Contraband Days have announced the schedule for water events and we wanted to pass the schedule of events along to you.

The 2nd annual original Downtown Crawfish festival is this weekend in Lake Charles.  The festival is chopped full of carnival rides, food and great entertainment. One of the big things the festival has is over ten thousand pounds of hot boiled crawfish and a great lineup of Cajun and Zydeco music.
