Cowboy Junior pitcher Michael Clemens went 4-4 last season with 54 strike outs in 79 and a third innings. This caught the attention of professional baseball scouts. It would now seem the right handed pitcher is going to begin his professional career.

It sure would have been nice to keep Odell Beckham in Louisiana; but he went too high in the draft. There are lots of reasons why the New York Giants took Beckham with the 12th pick in this year's NFL draft.

T-Bob Hebert was an offensive lineman for LSU. Since his graduation last year he has been working as a Sportscaster and Sports Columnist with WWL in New Orleans. He is quite a character and has done some great video work. You'll enjoy his "The Night Before Draftmjus."

LSU will be represented by 11 former players at this year's NFL combine. The combine takes place February 22nd-25th. This a chance for prospective draft picks to show what they can do and talk to NFL team officials.

The New Orleans Saints made a move on day one of the NFL Draft and bagged themselves another Heisman Trophy winner in Mark Ingram from Alabama.

With the owners and Players in a dispute, at least you can get some form of Football tonight when the NFL Draft airs at 7pm on ESPN.
