Happy Birthday to one of Cajun Radio's most popular artists Damon Troy.  Damon is turning 30 years old today! I know you are saying wow he is only 30!  Yeah I couldn't believe it either.  It because Damon has been on the Cajun music scene for a long time now which would make you think that he is older. Here is a look at the man who brings you some many hits!

5-4-3-2-1 Happy New Year everyone!  It's been a great year here at Cajun Radio and we wanted to say thank you to all of  you for making Cajun Radio what it has become! Reflecting back on this year, we have had a lot of fun with you guys and gals with great festivals, interviews and concerts.  Here is a look back on 2011.

With the New Years weekend coming up, I know all of you are wondering what to do and how to celebrate ringing in the new year! Well I have compiled a list of where all you favorite Cajun, Swamp Pop and and Zydeco bands will be playing in the Southwest Louisiana area this weekend. Here you go!

Every year, it seems like Cajun music takes a bigger and bigger spotlight on the world stage, and we can certainly think of a few names that helped to make that phenomenon happen.  But in the end, who did 2011 BELONG to?  Who's year was it?  We're asking you to help us name the Cajun Radio 2011 Artist of the Year!

Damon Troy will be performing live this Saturday night at Yesterdays Night Club in Lake Charles. Damon and his band the Final Five will be playing his hits and some of his new songs from his upcoming CD.

Get ready, because this fall's biggest concert event is TONIGHT! The Louisiana Throwdown is set for Tonight, Nov. 19 with the biggest names in Cajun and Zydeco music all on one stage --and joining them will be two stars of the hit reality show "Swamp People." The clock is ticking for you to get advance tickets for the first Louisiana Throwdown, set for Saturday at Isle of Capri Casino in Westlake. After 5:30 p.m. today, you'll lose your chance to get to buy and print out your tickets online ... and you'll have to pay regular price, just like everyone else. Yikes. Might want to get a move on.
