February 29, 2012 Quarterback Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints franchise are in talks to renew Drew's contract but ESPN is reporting that the two are ways apart in the negotiations.
Drew's contract with the Saints ended at the end of this season. Can you even wrap your mind around the fact that Drew could possibly not be a Saint if they can't come to an agreement!
The BIG problem is that the Saints only have until this Monday March 5th to get something done or be forced to use the franchise tag on Brees which would only buy them one year. Here is the latest.
