Contraband Days

If you did not get a pair of the 7,900 tickets that were given out for the Joshua Ledet concert at the Burton Coliseum, you can still see it and hear it LIVE. Because of the demand, the concert will be simulcast live inside the Lake Charles Civic Center coliseum at Contraband Days and broadcast live on our sister station, 107 JAMZ.  Here is all the info.

As we reported yesterday, there’s a better-than-even chance that ‘American Idol‘ star Joshua Ledet will be returning to town on Saturday like the conquering hero he’s become.  First, he’s here in our studios, then a parade, then a live performance at Burton Coliseum.

Contraband Days is here and a lot of thrill seeking folks will head out to the carnival to get on those fun but scary rides.  We want to know which ride is your favorite?

Contraband Days is right around the corner. The festival starts Tuesday May 1st and runs through May 13th, 2012. Contraband Days have announced the schedule for water events and we wanted to pass the schedule of events along to you.

Can you believe that Contraband Days is almost here?  Well it is!  Contraband Days this year is May 1st thru May 13th, 2012. On Saturday, May 12th, Contraband Days along with Cajun Radio have a great lineup of Cajun, Swamp Pop and Zydeco music for you!  The music will start at noon and go on till 9:30 p.m. Want to know the Lineup?

This year will mark the 55th year for The Contraband Days Festival, and for that milestone, the event is getting a total makeover. What's on tap for Calcasieu Parish's most famous event in 2012? We've got the scoop.

It's that time again.  It's festival season in Southwest Louisiana and time for the 55th annual Contraband Days festival. I kind of have the inside track on the lineup but of course I can't give it away but I can say it will be awesome!

This Saturday night at 7pm on the Malibu Stage at Contraband Days, come see and hear two of Swamp pop's most Iconic stars T.K. Hulin & G.G. Shinn.

With the High Winds last weekend, the folks at Contraband Days have moved the Boat parades to this Saturday.

Want to go to Contraband Days and save some money???  Well if you get there before 5pm This Thursday Through Sunday, the gate fee is half price at only $5.

That crazy Cajun Jamie Bergeron will be at Contraband Days Saturday Night May 7th at 830pm.

The Fabulous Boogie Kings will be performing LIVE this Sunday at 3pm at Contraband Days.
