This Wednesday night, the City of Lake Charles presents the "Little Band of Gold" Swamp pop Christmas concert featuring some of the biggest names in Cajun and Swamp pop music at Central School in Lake Charles.

The City of Lake Charles and the Acadiana Center for the Arts present Louisiana Crossroads in its 13th season at Central School. This year, Lake Charles will present four outstanding Louisiana performers, while keeping ticket prices affordable. The first of four great concerts is set for Tonight, October 24th, 2012 at Central School in Lake Charles with super group Beausoleil.

The Central School Arts & Humanities Center of Southwest Louisiana is putting on a Cajun and Creole concert tonight at Central school on Kirkman Street in Lake Charles. The concert is exploring Quebecois, Acadian, and Cajun/Creole connections with an all star lineup.  Here are the details.

The historic Central School, which is a beautiful building located in the heart of the Garden District of Lake Charles, is now under new management according to a press release from the Arts Council.
