The student body, parents and Lake Charles should be real proud today for Barbe high school.  The Barbe Buccaneers baseball team are back on top!  The Barbe baseball team who were the top seed in the 5-A state championship tournament took home the hardware yesterday!

Former Barbe Bus football player Janzen Jackson was dismissed from the University of Tennessee's football program.  Janzen who is a junior at the school was released from the football program earlier today.
