Suspect Wanted In Shooting On 6th Avenue in Lake Charles

The Lake Charles City police is looking for a suspect in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Lake Charles.  The suspect is Hubert Antoine Jr and here are the details of the incident that occurred:

On July 10, 2011 at approx 2:30 a.m., LCPD was called to the scene of a shooting in the 1700 block of 6th avenue.

LCPD Detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant today (July 11, 2011) for suspect Hubert Antoine Jr. a 36 year old black male (DOB 06/03/75) address 1740 6th Avenue Lot # 13 in Lake Charles, La for attempted 1st degree murder, 2 counts of armed robbery, 1 count of carjacking, 2 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping with a bond of $450,000.00. Antoine is considered armed & extremely dangerous.

Investigation is still on going with lead Detective Lecia McCullough, assisted by Detective Kirt Farquhar.
