The 79th annual Southwest District Livestock Show & Rodeo is coming back and is set for February 1st thru 3rd at the Burton Complex in South Lake Charles.

This event was named one of the top 20 events by the Southeast Tourism Society.  The Southwest District Livestock Show & Rodeo is full of rodeo performances, livestock shows and more.

It all gets started on Thursday, February 1st. with the Western Heritage Parade at 5:00 p.m.  The parade starts on West LaGrange Street then will head South on Ryan Street to McNeese Street.  Then head East on McNeese street and end at the McNeese Football Stadium parking lot.

Then it's on to the shows inside the Burton Coliseum.  The Southwest District Livestock Show & Rodeo have a 7:00 p.m. performance on Thursday, February 1st and Friday, February 2nd.

On Saturday February 3rd, there are two performances scheduled at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  For a complete list of events you can click the tab below.
