With all the drama surrounding the New Orleans Saints and their head coach Sean Payton's suspension, the club announce their 2012 preseason schedule.

Of the 5 preseason games, 4 of the games will be against AFC teams.

The first game of the preseason for the Saints whoever will be against a NFC team, the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame game.  Check out the rest of the Saints preseason schedule.

The Saints game against the Arizona Cardinals will be on Sunday, August 5  on the NFL Network with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m.

Then the Saints will travel to face the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium then host the  Jacksonville Jaguars in the home opener at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

New Orleans will then host the Houston Texans on Saturday, August 25 in a prime-time contest nationally televised on CBS.

The Saints will finish the preseason against the Tennessee Titans.

The games that are not nationally televised will be regionally televised on CST.

The dates and times for the New England, Jacksonville and Houston games will be announced at a future date.
