Police Say I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge Will Be Closed Tues & Wed Nights

Here is a traffic update for you that use the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge for your commutes.

The  Lake Charles Police Department is reporting that the bridge will be closed the next two nights and that traffic will be directed to detour at I-210.  Here is the times and dates the bridge will be closed.

Here is the latests from the Lake Charles Police Department:

• I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge lanes eastbound, will be closed to all traffic TUESDAY night, December 20, 2011 from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM. (Local eastbound traffic will be permitted to Exit 27 (Westlake- LA 378).

• I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge lanes westbound, will be closed to all traffic WEDNESDAY night, December 21, 2011 from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM . (Local westbound traffic will be permitted to Exit 30A (Lakeshore Drive).

Through traffic will be directed to detour via I-210 during each closure.

All lanes on the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge will be open between December 22, 2011 and January 3, 2012.
