The host and letter-turner for TV’s syndicated game show “Wheel of Fortune” taped 15 location episodes at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The last time they attempted to tape episodes in New Orleans, in the summer of '05, they had to shut down production early and evacuate ahead of Hurricane Katrina.

“It’s so great to be back in New Orleans and to see how much the city has recovered,” White said. “It’s a wonderful city, and Harold Clarke is a brilliant fashion designer. I’m so excited to wear his dresses again.”

Clarke, who is based in New Orleans, provided White’s dresses for the first 10 local episodes, set to begin airing May 2.

Do you watch Wheel of Fortune????  Did you get a chance to go to the tapings???  Ring in and let us know.
