The NFL announced a couple weeks ago that the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Carolina Panthers scheduled for today, December 8th at Noon in the Superdome would be "flexed" and moved to a prime time match up at 7:30 p.m.

That decision was made by the league so that they would have an attractive game in prime time for fans. Well tonight is the night and the Super Dome will be rocking in the big easy in this important divisional match up.

The Week 14 New Orleans Saints vs Carolina Panthers game on Sunday, Dec. 8, originally scheduled for Noon CT on FOX, has been flexed to 7:30 PM CT on NBC, the network announced Sunday night.

The NFL uses “flexible scheduling” on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling ensures quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and gives teams a chance to play their way onto primetime

The announcement will give the Saints their fifth nationally televised, prime-time game of the 2013 regular season.
