For a Music Summer Camp, look now further!  The Francis G. Bulber Youth Orchestra (FGBYO), located at 1001 Ryan Street, Suite 117, Lake Charles, is offering students 7 through 18-years of age a summer full of music, with the Midsummer Music Madness Summer Camp 2016.  Students will get an opportunity to develop and fine tune their music skills in an orchestral environment. Youth Orchestra members will also benefit from the programs goal of promoting listening, self-discipline, thinking skills and more.

going on now!  Download the registration form here and mail it or bring it in, with payment to 1001 Ryan Street, Suite 117, Lake Charles, LA 70601. The Midsummer Music Madness Summer Camp 2016 will take place June 20-25 and June 28-July 1, 2016.  There is a variety of music classes and they are as follows:

*Strings (violin, viola, cello, and string bass)
*Guitar
*Music Theory
*Mixed Instrument Ensemble (all instruments)
*Jazz (theory and improv)
*Piano

Students need not have prior experience, just a will to learn.  Different levels of these classes will be available for students of all musical backgrounds. Pre-registration tuition for the two-week camp is $200/student for FGBYO members and $250/student for non-members. The deadline to pre-register is June 10, after that a $25 late fee will be added. Ask about discounts for multiple family members.
