McNeese Roundup Tour Kicks Of In July In Lafayette

Are you ready for some football? Well it will be here before you know it and McNeese athletics is gearing up for the Cowboy round up tour.

McNeese will stop in Lafayette on July 11th and here are the details on the event.

The 2012 version of the Cowboy Round Up tour will make stops in Lafayette and back in Lake Charles for the first time 2008. On July 11, the Cowboy coaches and staff will be at The Abacus, located at 530 West Pinhook. The event will kick off at 6:00 pm with a social hour as fans began to arrive. At approximately 7:15 pm the program will begin with featured speakers, Director of Athletics Tommy McClelland, Head Men's Basketball Coach Dave Simmons and Head Football Coach Matt Viator.
“We are excited to be going back to Lafayette for our 2012 version of our Round Up Tour” stated McClelland. “It's dedicated and loyal fans like the ones we have in Acadiana that make McNeese such a special place.”
The 2012 Round-Up Tour will continue on Saturday August 4 with an informal program at the Club Level of the Jack V. Doland Field House. Beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday fans will have the opportunity to get tours of the field house. Beginning at 11:00 am there will be short program that will feature various McNeese head coaches and Director of Athletics Tommy McClelland.
