McNeese Needs Win Over Lamar To Keep Playoff Hopes Alive

With some of the Cowboys biggest stars out for the game and the season ... the Pokes are looking at a must win in the final game of the season at Cowboy stadium. Worst yet the win has to come against the rival Lamar Cardinals.

The loss to Southeaster last week dropped the Pokes to number 17 in the Sports Network poll and 17 in the Coaches Poll. McNeese will have to step up and win this Saturday at Cowboy stadium to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. It would be helpful to have a big win and that is not going to be easy against this Cardinals team. This Lamar team beat Southeastern 61-31, they beat Nicholls 63-21. The Pokes will have to stop a high powered offense and light up the scoreboard to end the season with a victory. Help the Pokes by packing Cowboy Stadium this Saturday night.
