The McNeese Cowboys football team are gearing up for the 2014 football season and they will kick it off in style for their first home game on September 13th with some really cool camo blue and gold jersey's.

It will be military appreciation night on Sept. 13th and the Cowboys football team will dawn for the first time ever a camouflage football jersey in celebration of the night.

McNeese State rolled out its one-of-a-kind football jerseys on Thursday evening with the reveal of the special blue and gold camouflage uniforms that will be worn for the September 13 home opener against Prairie View to help celebrate Military Appreciation Day.

It’ll be the first time in school history the Cowboys will wear something other than their traditional solid home blue uniform since the school changed to blue and gold colors in 1972 from purple and gold.
