The McNeese Cowboys opened up their 2014 home football schedule last Saturday in Lake Charles and did it in a huge way!  The Cowboys beat up Prairie View 48-16 to improve to 1-1 on the year,

The dominating win over the Panthers was not enough to move the Cowboys up in the polls this week as the Pokes stayed put in both the Sports Network and FCS Coaches Top 25 polls.

McNeese are # 6 in both the Sports Network and FCS Coaches Top 25 polls this week going into a by week.  The Cowboys return back to action next Saturday at home at Cowboys Stadium when they take on Arkansas Tech.
