McNeese Football Ranked 11th In Hero Sports Preseason Poll

The McNeese Cowboys football team are gearing up for the 2016 season, and will kick off the season this Saturday in Lake Charles. With the season nearing, all the preseason polls are coming out.

Back at the beginning of August, the STATS top 25 poll came out and the pokes were ranked 11th. Their Southland conference foes Sam Houston were ranked #2.

This weekend, the Hero Sports top 25 preseason poll came out and the Cowboys landed at the #11 spot in that poll, too. Sam Houston captured the #2 spot in this pool, as well.

The Cowboys open up the 2016 season here in Lake Charles this Saturday night, September 3rd against Tarleton State at Cowboys stadium. Kickoff is set at 6:00pm.
