The McNeese Cowboys are a perfect 3-0 on the season after blanking Mississippi College 37-0 last Saturday night at Cowboy stadium in Lake Charles.

The Cowboys now get ready for Southland Conferenc play as the next seven games on the Pokes schedule are all conference games.  This is where the Pokes will need to get serious and make a run through conference and secure themselves a good spot in the FBS playoffs.

First on the list is Nicholls.  The Cowboys will travel up to Thibodaux Louisiana this Saturday.  Kickoff for the game has been moved up from the original 3:00 p.m. start to now a 2:30 pm kickoff.

Today the polls were released and McNeese has jumped up two spots in the FCS Coaches Poll and the STATS Top 25 rankings.
