The McNeese Cowboys dropped a big game at home losing to Stephen F. Austin 31-16 last Saturday night. The loss dropped the Cowboys football team to 6-3 on the season and 4-2 in Southland conference play and the loss dropped the Pokes in the polls!

The Cowboys dropped from #6 to # 11 in the FCS Coaches Poll and from #6 to #13 in the Sports Network rankings.  Here is the complete polls:

The Cowboys will hit the road this week and travel to Hammond Louisiana to take on SLC leading Southeastern Louisiana.
