The McNeese Cowboys dropped a must win game on the road last Saturday losing to Southeastern Louisiana 28-9. The loss dropped the Cowboys football team to 6-4 on the season and 4-3 in Southland conference play and the loss dropped the Pokes big in the polls!

The Cowboys dropped from # 11 to #17 in the coaches poll while dropping from #13 to #19 in the Sports Network poll.  Here is the complete polls:

The Cowboys will end the 2014 regular season at home this Saturday taking on the Lamar Cardinals from Beaumont Texas.  Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m.

The Cowboys hope to win big Saturday night and get the attention of the FCS playoff committee to try and get an at Large bid in the playoffs.  The Poke nation will need to come out and help the Cowboys drive to a victory.
