McNeese Football Blue/Gold Spring Game Set For Saturday

Are you having withdrawls for football? Well we have your fix, especially for McNeese Cowboy football fans. This Saturday, April 16th, the McNeese football team will hold their annual Blue and Gold spring football game.

The spring game will be held at Cowboy Football stadium. Head coach Lance Guidry held a draft last Tuesday, where both the Blue and Gold teams were set. Guidry is bringing in two past McNeese football standouts to be the honorary coaches for the game.

Former McNeese football quarterbacks Blake Prejean and Scott Pendarvis will serve as the honorary coaches. Both players were quarterbacks for the Pokes during their national championship teams in 1997 and 2002.

Kickoff is at 2:00 p.m., and the game will have two 20-minute halves. The event is free and open to the public.
