McNeese Cowboys Travel To Texas to Take On Stephen F Austin Saturday Night

The McNeese Cowboys are 1-0 on the season after finally getting to play their first full regular season last Saturday night at Cowboys stadium.  The Cowboys scored 34 unanswered points in the second half of last weeks game to beat the University of Incarnate word 43-9. The win improved the Cowboys to 1-0.

The Cowboys will now travel to Nacogdoches, Texas to play Stephen F Austin who is 0-2 on the year.  The Lumberjacks lost 34-28 to Northern Arizona in their season opener at home and then were destroyed 70-7 by TCU last Saturday night.

The Cowboys are currently ranked #21 in the weeks FCS Coaches Poll while Stephen F Austin is not ranked in the top 25.

The Cowboys and Lumberjacks game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. Central time.
