The McNeese Cowboys football are looking to actually start the 2015 football season.  Last week should have been the first game of the year for the pokes but after only five minutes into the game with the LSU Tigers, the game was delayed because of lightning and ultimately canceled.

Now the Cowboys return home tonight and take on Incarnate Word in a Southland Conference matchup.  This will be the second straight season that the Pokes will wear camouflage jerseys in honor of their Military Appreciation Day. The new jerseys I have to say are pretty sweet!

The numbers on the jerseys are blue and gold camouflage along with the shoulder pad area also dawn the blue and gold camouflage.

If you remember last season, the Pokes football team wore blue camo jerseys in the home opener against Prairie View.

The 2015 home opener for the McNeese Cowboys is today and kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. in Cowboy Stadium. That is where you will be able to see the new camouflage jerseys.
