You couldn't ask for a better start for the 2013 football season for the McNeese Cowboys.  The went down to Tampa and beat up the University of South Florida and set a couple of records.  Then they came home and drummed Arkansas Pine-Bluff last weekend to start the year at 2-0.

For their efforts, the McNeese Cowboys made a big jump in this weeks polls.

McNeese jumped five spots to No. 13 in this week's Sports Network Top 25 poll while moving up two spots to No. 18 in the FCS Coaches poll.
