Someone call the "Swamp People," because there’s a huge gator on the loose at the Palmetto, Florida golf course. The size of the massive alligator has already sparked debate amongst social media — is it fake or the real deal?

The behemoth sized reptile was caught on video by Charlie Helms, as it took a stroll on the fairway of Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Palmetto, Florida. A man in the video can be heard estimating the gators length to be at least 15 feet, and he goes as far as to say “I think that's two guys in an alligator suit.” Sir, you couldn’t be anymore wrong. I’m no scientist, but my best guess is that the gigantic lizard is real. Scary, but very real.

I’m sure there are some humonguous gators in the bayous and swamps of Louisiana as well. I’ve lived in the Bayou State all of my life without seeing one of that size. I don’t know about you, but I would prefer to continue never spotting a gator as big as the one in the video.

I like my gators bite size with a side of french fries from local seafood restaurants.
