Marshland Festival Opens Tonight
The 2012 Marshland Festival opens tonight inside the Lake Charles Civic Center Coliseum. This years festival is full of great food, fun and a terrific lineup of entertainment!
The doors open tonight at 5:00 p.m. and the music starts at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday, the doors opens at 11:00 a.m. and the music begins at noon and goes till midnight non-stop!
The Marshland Festival is always a fun time complete with your favorite Cajun food and dancing. Ready to see who is playing?

The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) recently honored the Marshland Festival as a 2012 Top 20 Event for the month of July.
The festival helps to raise funds for 14 schools and church organizations and features exhibits, games, arts and crafts booths, food, live entertainment and is a tribute to the marshes that are famous in the Southwest Louisiana area and along the Creole Nature Trail All-American Road.
The festival offers a great way to experience authentic Louisiana culture, food and music and will be held July 27-28th at the Lake Charles Civic Center.Events are selected from each of the following STS member states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
