Man Wins Over 1.5 Million Dollars At L’Auberge Casino Resort In Lake Charles

L'Auberge Casino Resort announced today that a guest at their casino won more than $1.5-million playing a Wheel Of Fortune $5 dollar slot machine.

What is really lucky about the guest is it took only 6 spins of the reels to become an instant millionaire! 

L’Auberge Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La. created yet another instant millionaire this week. A guest from Athens, Alabama who works in Lake Charles won more than $1.5-million playing a Wheel of Fortune® $5 dollar slot machine. The guest, named Dennis, chose not to reveal his last name but lined up the winning reels shortly before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11 after playing just $60, or six spins, into the machine to claim the statewide progressive jackpot.

Dennis is the fifth instant millionaire created at L’Auberge Lake Charles by a Wheel of Fortune® progressive machine since 2008. The jackpot is paid when a player plays the maximum bet and lines up all three winning symbols on the appropriate pay line. The exact winning amount when the reels lined up was $1,586,808.96.  After the jackpot is verified, the Wheel of Fortune® meter is reset at $1,000,000 and play resumes.
