Man Helps Himself to Steel and Now He is Behind it
In our latest version of stupid criminals, this guy decided to take metal and steel and now he is behind bars made of the same stuff.
On August 12, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local machine shop in reference to employee, Jeremy T. Ball, 35, 1104 Idlebrook Drive, Moss Bluff, stealing materials.
When questioned by detectives, Ball confirmed to stealing over 140 pounds of stainless steel and 30 pounds of Inconel metal sheets, valued at over $1,200, from his employer and selling it at a local scrap yard.
Ball was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with theft from $500.
Judge Michael Canaday set his bond at $2,500.
CPSO Detective Lt. Rick Burrell is the lead investigator on this case.
So moral of the story is don's steal, it's not worth it.
