There is just a little over a month and a half away before the 2013 college football season kicks off and the LSU Tigers begin the season on August 31st in Dallas when they take on TCU.

We have now learned that the Tigers will play their first two home football games at night in Tigers Stadium and they will both be televised nationally.

LSU’s home-opener against UAB on Sept. 7 will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday as part of the league’s release of the early season television schedule.

LSU’s game against Kent State on Sept. 14 will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT as well and will be carried either by ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU.

The LSU & TCU game will be part of the college football kickoff on August 31st and the two teams will face of in Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.  That game will be nationally televised at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN.
