UPDATE 3:13 PM--  Officials have announced that the LSU South Carolina game that has been moved to Baton Rouge will have an 2:30 pm kickoff on Saturday and will be on ESPN.

So Tiger fans, there has been a shake up in this Saturday's game against South Carolina. Originally the game was to be played in Columbia but due to the recent storms and all the flooding in the area, the SEC along with LSU and South Carolina athletic departments have decided to move the game to Baton Rouge.

The game was slated to kickoff at 11:00 a.m. and be televised on ESPN.  Now the game this Saturday will be moved from South Carolina and will be played at Tigers Stadium. Officials with the SEC and South Carolina are meeting now to determine details for the game, including kickoff time.

Even thought the game will be in Baton Rouge, it basically will be slated as a home game for the Gamecocks.  South Carolina is expected to leave for Baton Rouge on Friday.

Information on refunds/credits for tickets purchased for the contest at Williams-Brice Stadium will be forthcoming along with information about purchasing tickets for the contest to be played in Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers are 4-0 on the season while the Gamecocks are 2-3 on the season.  Stay tuned for further information about the game time, ticket availability and what channel the game will be televised on here with us.
