LSU Baseball Off To Best Start In History — Now #1 Team In The Country In One Poll

The LSU’s Tigers baseball team who are 30-2 on the season are off to the best start in Tigers baseball history. To add to that, they are now the number one team in the country in one of the three major polls that were released yesterday.

The Tigers are #1 in the Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division I Poll while they are ranked #3 in the Baseball America Top 25 and # 2 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.

LSU’s 30-2 record is the best 32-game mark in the history LSU Tigers baseball. The Tigers’ 11-1 Southeastern Conference record is the best conference record for an LSU baseball team since the 1997 team won 12 of their first 13 SEC games.
