Louisiana-Lafayette Beat Cowboys 14-8 In Front Of Capacity Crowd
The McNeese Cowboys and the No. 1 team in the country the Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette locked up last night in front of the fourth largest crowd in McNeese Cowboys baseball history.
1919 fans packed into Cowboy Diamond last night to see a great baseball game. The Cowboys held their own but a six run eighth inning to power its way past the Cowboys and take a 14-8 victory.
McNeese are now 19-12 on the season while Louisiana-Lafayette improved to 31-4 on the year and are undefeated on the road at 14-0.
The Cowboys baseball team will return to Southland Conference action this weekend as McNeese take on Northwestern State at Cowboy diamond in Lake Charles.
