Lady Tigers Softball Begin World Series Play Tonight

The LSU Tigers lady softball team are in the big dance!  The lady tigers are in Oklahoma City Oklahoma for the women's college softball world series.

The lady tigers breezed thru the NCAA regional beating LIU Brooklyn, McNeese and Arizona State which sent them into the super regional.  The tigers lost the first game to James Madison before rallying back to win the next two games to punch their ticket to the world series.

The lady tigers are 50-16 on the season and will be in action tonight in the first game of the world series.  LSU will take on #2 Michigan tonight at 8:30 p.m.  The game will be televised on ESPN2.
