Kinder high school's football team has been dominating their competition  for the past two seasons.  The proof is that the Kinder Yellow Jackets team is heading back to the state championship again and will look to win their 2nd straight title!

The Yellow Jackets have now won a staggering 25 straight games. Kinder's last loss was against the Westlake Rams on Friday, September 27th, 2013. That is unheard of for a high school football program to be that dominating!

Here is a little history of there dominating run since last season:

Last year in 2013, it was a magical season for the Yellow Jackets.  They were 9-1 in the regular season and entered the 2013 2-A playoffs and went on a tear. They racked up 4 straight wins in the playoffs to advance to the 2-A State Championship where they faced Many.

The Yellow Jackets beat Many 34-20 to win the State Championship!

Now they are looking to repeat this year!

Kinder went undefeated this season going 10-0 in the regular season and haspowered their way through the playoffs this year.  Kinder who is ranked the #2 seed in the LHSAA playoff bracket, most recently beat Sterlington who is from Monroe, Louisiana last week in the semi-finals to punch their ticket back to the Dome.

Kinder will have a rematch against Many who beat Northeast last week. So Kinder and Many will meet for the second straight season.  How crazy is that that both teams have made it right back to the dome this year?

Many and Kinder lock up tonight at 8:00 p.m. in New Orleans in the Superdome for the Class 2A state championship rematch.

Good Luck Yellow Jackets.
